Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary (Saltlick): This private sanctuary is known for its incredible Salt Lick Safari Lodge, famous for being one of the most photographed lodges in the world. The lodge is built on stilts overlooking a floodlit waterhole and a salt lick, providing a fantastic opportunity to view wildlife, including elephants, buffalo, and a variety of other animals, day and night from the comfort of your room or the main dining areas.

Amboseli National Park: Located at the foot of Africa’s highest mountain, Mount Kilimanjaro, Amboseli is renowned for its large herds of elephants, often with impressive tusks. The park’s flat, dusty plains and swamps create an iconic backdrop for wildlife photography, with the snow-capped peak of Kilimanjaro dominating the landscape on clear days.

Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi/Taita Saltlick

Pick -up from Nairobi- from airport or hotel by strictly 7 a.m. drive through the Nairobi -Mombasa highway to arrive at Taita hills resort for lunch. Then proceed to Saltlick safari Lodge, where you will proceed for an evening game drive looking out for lions, elephants, giraffe, buffalo’s and other animals. Return back to the lodge for a sumptuous buffet dinner with a stunning view overlooking the floodlit waterhole, which gives you a close range view of the animals, ending with a good time for resting

Day 2: Full Day Game Drive in Tsavo west

Have breakfast at 7.30 and leave at 8 a.m. for a full day game drive in the park with a picnic lunch. Tsavo West is a popular safari destination for its magnificent scenery, Mzima springs, rich and varied wildlife, good road system .

Day 3: Salt lick -Amboseli National park

Breakfast, check out and drive to Amboseli national park. Arrive in our lodge for check in and lunch. We shall spend the afternoon in wildlife drives. Amboseli national park lies at the floors of the Mount Kilimanjaro. The mountain offers scenic background for photography. Elephants, Lions, Cheetah, Buffalo, hyena etc. roam freely in this park. Our game viewing shall include a visit to the observation hill where we shall have a better view of the mashed grounds and the park at large.

Day 4: Full Day Game Drive Amboseli

Early morning game drive to get a glimpse of Mt Kilimanjaro and also a chance to view the park at the view point. Breakfast, later you can take guided safari walks which are specifically arranged, or take a swim, lunch and again in the evening do a game drive,

Day 5: Amboseli- Nairobi

Break Fast then depart to the lodge with a short game drive en-route off Amboseli as you join the Nairobi- Mombasa highway and arrive in the afternoon. Drop off at your hotel/airport. End of tour.
